Laptop game Gateway 17 inch, menawarkan grafis tingkat tinggi dan power CPU yang cukup untuk pengalaman game yang seru. Laptop game Gateway P-7811FX memiliki processor Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz dan platform Centrino 2, kartu grafis Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS, dan resolusi layar 1.920 x 1.200 piksel. Laptop ini diberi label harga USD 1.249 dan tentu agak lebih mahal USD 100 daripada model sebelumnya, namun untuk PC gamer, harga tersebut cukup cocok dengan kualitas laptop.

Laptop Gateway P-7811FX memiliki keyboard full size yang terpisah dari pad number, dan kualitas tombol yang nyaman. Di atas keyboard terdapat media control, dengan tombol yang dilingkupi dengan tepian metalik. Terdapat control sensitive sentuhan yang dapat mengatur volume suara sesuai selera. Kelebihan dari laptop Gateway P-7811FX adalah adanya fitur dari Centrino 2 CPU dan kartu grafis Nvidia GeForce 9800, harga yang cocok dengan kualitas, resolusi layar yang tinggi daripada sebelumnya, dan RAM 4GB, juga system operasi Windows Vista 64 bit. Sedangkan kekurangannya, seperti tidak ada fasilitas Bluetooth dan fingerprint reader.
